Mrs. Jessica Bancroft, MEd
Mrs. Jessica Bancroft has an MEd in elementary education and is an experienced elementary school teacher with a vibrant passion for education. She wants to make the subjects she teaches come alive for your child by demonstrating their importance in everyday life with a strong biblical worldview foundation.
Mr. Andrew Black, BS
Mr. Andrew Black has a BS in science education.and has been teaching since 2020. Being homeschooled himself, he wants his students to have an interest in learning as he did. He enjoys teaching all things science and strives to keep a balance between being concise and comprehensive as well as being engaging and fun.
Mrs. Jessica Black, BA
Mrs. Jessica Black has a BA in educational studies. She has been teaching since 2021. She wants to foster her students' curiosity about the world around them and inspire their love of learning.
Mrs. Gloria Boyd, BS
Mrs. Gloria Boyd has a BS in marketing and has been teaching since 2000. She creates her lessons to be visual and applicable to help students see and apply what they are learning. She wants her students to love the Hispanic culture and want to share the gospel with others.
Mrs. Joanna Brennan, BS
Mrs. Joanna Brennan has a bachelor of science in elementary education and has been teaching since 1989. She brings extensive teaching experience to her role, and she is passionate about guiding students in their understanding of math concepts and encouraging them as they grow in confidence. She wants her students to enjoy math and recognize how it can be used to make wise decisions that please the Lord.
Mrs. Cynthia Bullock, BS, MEd
Mrs. Cynthia Bullock has a master of education in teaching and learning and has been teaching since 1987. She loves pointing to events throughout history, government, and economics to her students that show God’s control of all things and how they all interrelate.
Mrs. Jamie Campbell, BA, MAT
Mrs. Jamie Campbell has a BA and MAT in early childhood education and has been teaching since 2000. Her goal is for students to learn to love language and writing as they grow in their understanding of the English language and to become effective communicators who serve the Lord.
Dr. Lesa Carper, BS, MEd, EdS, EdD
Dr. Lesa Carper has many years of experience teaching in Christian education. She desires to instill in her students a love for learning. Her main goal in teaching grammar is to show how English follows a logical pattern.
Mrs. Lydia Clute, BMus
Mrs. Lydia Clute has a Bachelor of Music and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in K-12 Teaching and Learning. She has been teaching since 2011. She loves helping students connect ideas and see how what they’re learning applies to their lives.
Mrs. Beth Cofer, MEd
Mrs. Beth Cofer holds an MEd in English Education and has been teaching since 1999 in various settings. She desires to use the study of language arts to help students learn to be excellent discerners of truth and to be effective communicators of that truth as they follow the Lord’s leading in their lives.
Mrs. Jennifer Cox, BS
Mrs. Jennifer Cox wants each student she teaches to come away with a very sound, excellent education. Her desire is for each student to come away with a love for learning and to believe that only the Christian who trusts God and obeys His Word will live a life filled with blessing and reward.
Mrs. Kristin Dunn, BS, MEd
Mrs. Kristin Dunn has a masters in education. She enjoys teaching her students to explore new concepts. Her goal is to encourage spiritual growth as her students prepare for the future.
Mrs. Ginger Ericson, BS, MAT
Mrs. Ginger Ericson has a BS in biology. She hopes that through science, her students will see the glory and power of their Creator God and desire to serve Him wholeheartedly.
Mr. Duane Farley, BA, MA
Mr. Duane Farley has experience preaching to and teaching high school and adult students. He believes that no other subject is more intellectually stimulating and personally applicable to both teacher and student than the Bible. His goal is that his students will grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ as a result of the high school Bible module series.
Mrs. Sarah Gillenwater, BS
Mrs. Sarah Gillenwater holds a BS in elementary education and has many years of teaching experience in the Christian school classroom. Her lessons overflow with personality, making her passion for her subject infectious. It is her goal for her students to see how science teaches about the character of God.
Mrs. Andrea Lindstrom Hall, BS
Mrs. Andrea Hall has a BS in Bible and Elementary Education. She has been teaching since 1999. She hopes to encourage the natural curiosity and desire to learn in her students. She wants them to use their knowledge to serve the Lord.
Mr. Bill Harmon, MEd
Mr. Bill Harmon has a BS in chemistry and an MEd in secondary education and has been teaching since 1982. He has experience teaching various subjects including science, math, Latin, and computer. His philosophy of teaching is to emphasize and connect the main concepts as a framework on which to hang the details.
Dr. Michelle Jarrell, EdD
Dr. Michelle Jarrell has an English education degree. She has many years experience teaching in a variety of classroom settings. Her hope is to teach her students practical ways to understand and remember information.
Mr. Daryl Kopp, BA
Mr. Daryl Kopp's passion is to read, study, teach, and preach God's Word. His goal is to help students know the facts and stories of the Bible in such a way that Christ is the obvious focal point.
Mrs. Aida Kuhlewind, MS
Mrs. Aida Kuhlewind has a BS in elementary education and Bible, an MS in biblical counseling, and an MS in education. She has been teaching since 2003. She has taught students of various grade levels . Her goal is that her students should learn to communicate clearly and effectively both in the written word and in Spanish.

Mrs. Sarah Lawson has a bachelor of science in elementary education and has been teaching since 1987. She has extensive experience teaching both in the classroom and at BJU Press. "I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was a little girl, and I’m thankful to the Lord for letting me teach your child through BJU Press. My goal is to help your child feel successful at his present level and to encourage him to improve.
Miss Jennifer Martini, BS, MA
Miss Jen Martini loves to read. Her goal for students is that they would be able to develop a discerning eye toward what they read and to apply that skill to their own personal Bible study.
Mr. Ken Matesevac, MS
Mr. Ken Matesevac has a BS in Mathematics Education as well as an MS in Educational Leadership. He has taught and tutored students in various levels of math. He desires that his students will be successful in their BJU Press courses with the Lord's help.
Mr. Barkley May, BA, MA, MDiv
Mr. Barkley May enjoys teaching from God’s Word. His goal is that each student will deepen his knowledge of God’s Word, better understand how the Bible applies to him, and grow in his relationship with Christ.

Mr. Manuel Mendoza feels that teaching the Bible is a joy and a privilege. of teaching students the Bible. His desire is to help guide students through a life that is pleasing to Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Ruth Nason has taught on the elementary level as well as on the high school level. She believes teaching children is one of the most rewarding jobs.

Mrs. Debbie Overly has a master of science in educational administration and has been teaching since 1984. She wants to encourage each child to look forward to learning each day. Most importantly, she wants to present Christ in each subject that she teaches.

Mr. Timothy Snow, BA, MS
Mr. Timothy Snow has a BA in history, an MS in secondary education, and has been teaching since 1993. Over the past several years, Mr. Snow has found it a joy to coach students to success as they learn English and hone their skills. His prayer is that he will train a new generation of Christian authors who will glorify God with their talents.

Mr. Rob Spurgeon has an MA in biblical studies and has been teaching since 1993 in various ministry settings. His desire is to help his students develop a passion for the Bible and to grow in their desire to read and study the Bible on their own.

Mrs. Sherri Vick has taught various elementary and junior high grades. One of her goals is that the student will develop lifelong learning skills that he can use both now and in the future.

Mrs. Amanda Zemke has an MAT in social studies and has been teaching since 2020. She desires for her students to be reminded that creation proclaims the glory of God, and as a visual learner, she implements as many amazing images as she can in her lessons.
